EVENT INFORMATION

The annual event at Falls Creek is open to school-aged children. Skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels can compete in four disciplines, being Alpine Giant Slalom, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Ski Cross, and Snowboard Cross.

How to Enter

Online entries for the 2025 South Australian / TAS / WA Interchools Snowsport Championships will open 12 May 2025.

Families can enter directly via the Snow Australia online entry system.

Further details and online entry links will be available in early May.

Event Ticketing

Event ticketing information will be released closer to the event.

Volunteer course officials that appear on the event volunteer roster will receive a free-of-charge lift pass on the allocated event day. These lift passes will be collected at the Interschools event office from 7.30am on the morning of each event.


Volunteers Required

The event management team is seeking volunteer course officials to help ensure participants enjoy a safe and well-run experience.

Available roles include start marshals, gate judges, and, for cross-country (XC) events, recorders and timers. Volunteers are typically needed for around two hours during their assigned course.

On the day of volunteering, each official will receive a folder and a complimentary lift pass (if they do not have a season pass). Checking in at the race desk early enough for course inspection is essential.

All volunteers must complete a waiver.

2025 Participant and Volunteer Waivers

It is a condition of entry that all participants must complete an Online Participant waiver to compete in the 2025 Interschools Championships. No bibs will be released until waivers are complete for each participant.

Additionally, all volunteer course officials must complete an volunteer waiver.

Waivers will be available closer to the event.



Entry Requirements

All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snow ID, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2025. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snow ID first to complete your entry.

2025 Snow ID will be open in early May 2025.

Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the Time Trial.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate. Please note that race suits will not be permitted.


 

Event Office and Bib Collection

The event office will be in a new location in 2025 at the Village Bowl area - Falls Creek Sports

Bib collection times include:

  • Tuesday July 15 - 3.00pm to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday July 16 and Thursday 17 - every event morning - 7.30am to 9.30am

2025 Poster

The 2025 Interschools Promotional Poster is available for families and schools to download as print and digital ready for you to display at your school and/or included in your school newsletter.

 This is a geat way to promote Interschools participation at your school.

The poster will be available soon in formats for social media use.
