EVENT INFORMATION

The annual event at Falls Creek is open to school-aged children. Skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels can compete in four disciplines, being Alpine Giant Slalom, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Ski Cross, and Snowboard Cross.

2024 Event Schedule

Daily Presentations will occur at 4.30pm in the Slalom Plaza events area.

How to Enter

Online entries for the 2024 South Australian / TAS / NT Interchools Snowsport Championships will open 20 May 2024.

Families can enter directly via the Snow Australia online entry system.

Follow these steps to enter:

1. Join or renew your Snow Australia Membership here for the 2024 season. Snowracer membership is free of charge.

2. Enter the Interschools Championships here where you will need to login into your Snow Australia membership to enter.

3. Complete your waiver here

Event Ticketing

Competitors and Team Managers who have not purchased a 2024 Epic Australia Pass can purchase an event lift pass in resort only. Event lift passes will be available for purchase at either Falls Creek Sports Slalom Plaza or Village Bowl and will only be valid for the following competition days: 17 and 18 July.

Team Managers who are assigned to individuals via the online entry system prior to the close of entries will be eligible for a discounted event lift pass. A team manager list will be provided to the Falls Creek ticket office. Only the names that appear on the team manager list will be eligible for a discounted team manager event lift pass. No changes will be made once the online entry is closed.

Volunteer course officials that appear on the event volunteer roster will receive a free-of-charge lift pass on the allocated event day. These lift passes will be collected at the Interschools event office at Slalom Plaza ‘Race Room’ from 7.30am on the morning of each event.

2024 Participant and Volunteer Waivers

It is a condition of entry that all participants must complete an Online Participant waiver to compete in the 2024 Interschools Championships. No bibs will be released until waivers are complete for each participant.

Additionally, all volunteer course officials must complete an volunteer waiver.

Entry Requirements

All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snowracer Membership, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2023. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snowracer membership first to complete your entry.

Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the Time Trial.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate. Please note that race suits will not be permitted.

Event Office and Bib Collection

The event office will be in the locker room area at Slalom Plaza

Bib collection times include:

• July 16 - 3.00pm to 4.30pm
• July 17 and 18 - every event morning - 7.30am to 9.30am

Presentation

Presentation will be held at Slalom Plaza from 4.30pm.
