The State Interschools Cross Country events will be held on Wednesday, August 21.

Course Information

Access to the Cross Country Course is a short walk from the Perisher Carpark to the Perisher Cross Country Centre

Bib Collection

Competition bibs need to be collected by school coordinators, or their representative, from the Interschools event office in the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Bib collection times are:

• Sunday, August 18 - 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm
• Monday, August 19 to Wednesday, August 21 - 7.00 am to 11.30 am.

Course Official Check In

Course officials will need to check in at the Interschools pop up tent in the morning of the Cross Country Champs.

Cross Country Classic Rules

Educational video resources have been put together on the correct Cross Country Classic Technique.

Classical techniques include double-poling techniques, herringbone techniques (with no glide), downhill techniques, and turning techniques. Each technique is explained with examples of what is allowed, and what not is allowed.
