Nominations now open for the Community Sport Awards

Snow Australia is calling on the community to nominate individuals, schools, clubs, and programs, for the fifth edition of the Community Sport Awards.

Recognising individuals and programs at the development and pathway level of snow sports, the awards are an opportunity to nominate and acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of our community over the past 12 months.

Nominations are now open with the winners to be announced as a series of online stories later in the year.

You may put forward nominations that meet the selection criteria for the Community Sport Awards.

Spirit of Interschools Award

The Spirit of Interschools award seeks to recognise an individual student who, through their actions, has embodied the spirit of the Interschool Snowsport competition. This award is not necessarily about performance but considers participation in multiple disciplines and events, multiclass participation and support, longevity, leadership, and support of their own school’s snow sports program.

Outstanding School Achievement 

An award to highlight an outstanding or unique school snow sports activity, program, or initiative delivered in 2024, that grew and/or supported participation at the school level.
